Happy Birthday America!
Today we spent at the Louisbourg Fortress which is a fort within a fort. The defeat of this fortress by the British is what insured that we are English speaking and not French in not only this area but our original 13 states. Most interesting day and this is the larges fortification in our hemisphere. It is only about 20 percent restored and then have costumed people acting like those that were here in the early and mid 1700s.
All is going well with the caravan and we have less than a week until the "official" caravan is over.
