Yesterday's highlight was a return visit to the Soo Canal where we saw three freighters, a tour boat, and a private cruiser go through the locks. Two of the freighters were of the 1000 foot size and the larger one at 1004 feet and 105 feet width only had 2.5 feet clearance on each side! Pretty awsome to watch and the final picture shows the American Century from off our campground. The locks rise or lower the ships 21 feet to make the trip down or up the Saint Mary's river from Lake Huron to Lake Superior. For dinner we went to an Italian restaurant in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario and had to cross the border and go across the International Bridge.
